DESCRIPTION: The Fermilab IERC pays homage to the institution’s history while deviating from its usual approach to building design. Wilson Hall, the campus’ most prominent building that is connected to the IERC, is an architecturally open space that visitors can tour. The IERC furthers this design intent by showcasing its major scientific spaces through open windows that look into the scientific spaces from outside the building and from its interior public spaces.
