DESCRIPTION: Due to the City of Pekin’s aging infrastructure, many sidewalks, curb ramps, and crosswalks were no longer ADA and PROWAG compliant, and they posed significant challenges for residents with mobility challenges. The City entered into a Consent Decree to bring the outdated pedestrian facilities into compliance. TWM was selected as the consultant firm to perform the surveying and engineering work and draft the ADA Transition Plan.
